The President-Elect will do the following:
Per Article III of the WSASEA By-Laws, the duties of the President-Elect are:
"The President-Elect" shall serve as historian of the Association." The President-Elect will serve as President of the Association in the year FOLLOWING their year as President-Elect, and as Past-President in the third year of service.
The position of President-Elect is elected every year at the Spring Conference.

The official duty of the President-Elect is to serve as historian of the Association. By serving as historian, the President-Elect will become acquainted with the history of the Association, and the past and present goals and objectives of WSASEA in preparation for their presidential leadership. The historian will be charged with preserving the history of the Association by ensuring all prior year accomplishments of, and events held by, the Association are submitted to the Webmaster for archiving on the web and available to members to review.

Assume the office of President-Elect on July 1.

Attend the meeting of incoming and outgoing Executive Board members.

Participate in Town Meeting.

Assist Past-President with implementing Student Employee of the Year process.
Participate in Spring Conference planning meeting and duties.

Participate in Spring Conference.

Gather and archive previous year's materials.

Assume the office of President on July 1 (see President's job description).
